Getting notified when a user you follow posts a meme, but being notified before it gets featured would be even better.

Kind of like an incentive to follow users you would get "special perks" like being notified when they post a meme and before it gets featured and before anyone else sees it. Just following a user and not getting notified seems pointless to me, which is why I don't follow anyone. The only benefit I can see with that is you can go to their profile quicker than typing out their profile address in the address bar, but it isn't much better.

C'mon, let's get something like this going. It would be extra incentive to follow a user.

Not against it, however I like to be able to regulate my number of notifications a bit. But overall it only makes sense....
