actually the news media conspired 2 get ppl 2 believe that 85 yrs ago. Republicans were the ones against slavery (all seven of the first blacks in congress were Republican). The news company decided in 1935 that they could get many free votes for the Democratic side (u c, the news has always had a strong liberal bias) if they convinced their next generation that Democrats were for the black ppl and Republicans weren't, and that trick worked. They knew that b/c ppl get their info from the news, they wouldn't bother 2 find out truth 4 themselves & just believe what they were told.
Plus, sometimes when ppl advertise equality, bad things follow. For example, communism advertises equality, but in reality, it's like a dictatorship; man playing the role of God and deciding everything 4 everyone, which is completely against everything the country was founded upon.

i saw a video where a black woman explained that b/c they realized black ppl were more serious about voting, they realized that they could greatly affect who would be elected if they could get black ppl to think that democrats were for them. In reality, democrats were not the ones standing 4 black ppl in the slave days. Actually, the first 7 blacks in Congress (some of which were born and raised as slaves) were all Republican. (I have a poster in my house about that, actually).

So in other words, yes, they did trick ppl. But it makes sense, to be honest. A lot of ppl in this country get their political view directly from the news media, b/c honestly we let others do our thinking 4 us. They might pull some deceptive tricks and would fool many 4 that very reason.

Also, the media doesn't seem 2 stand 4 black ppl no matter how much they claim to. Joe Biden made a comparison between "poor people" and "white people" once recently, and I never heard of it until someone showed me a video making fun of the fact that he forgets things. My point is that the news will never tell u the truth or what benefits u, they tell u what makes u agree w/ what they want.

With all that said, i have plenty of black heritage and some white heritage and hold absolutely nothing against either. I'm not suggesting black ppl r stupid; you do not have to be stupid to be fooled. I've been fooled into believing wrong things b4 and I am by no means stupid.
Honestly I wish the world would stop pitting whites and blacks against one another; we will never progress with all this fighting and all of this killing going on I think is just a ruse to delay any progress in the future.
