26 minutes, watch the whole thing- this is a shadow of what is going on. Understand God's hand is in all of this and living by faith is the only thing that can save us.

Wow, that video was something else. My grandparents have really kept me alight of such things the last few yrs. I'm grateful to have them and that God has shook up my belief system. I don't want to be asleep like so many out there. Boy, it's scary though how fast all this is coming along. My g-pa said it's all apart of God's plan... He isn't causing this, but it will all work together in his will in the end. I'm trying to keep the faith. Thx again for sharing.

I started this response a couple times, then decided I need to give this as background, not as bragging. I read the Bible daily, have probably read it cover to cover 100 times or so. These times have been predicted in the Bible, and it is all a build up to what happens in the Book of Revelation. Christ is asked about it in Matthew 24 and describes it. Paul describes it in Romans 1 and 2 Timothy 3. A couple years ago when I was reading I kept being struck by the phrases, endure to the end, persevere to the end, etc. It is so easy to watch things unfold and become weak or timid in our faith, when we get hammered on every front for our belief in Christ and a Creator. Understand that Christ has promised that the church (real believers- not pretend Christians) are taken out of the events of Revelation. The church is not mentioned after Ch 4. Now is the time to strengthen your faith, now is the day of salvation for your family and friends. You don't have to be in your face with anyone, just never be ashamed to be a follower of Christ. If you don't already, read your Bible daily, not just the dart board method of opening it up wherever it opens and thinking that is what God wants you to know today. Soon your Bible opens up to the same spot every time. Read the whole word of God to be prepared to give a defense for your faith. There's a website called the Blue Letter Bible where you can look up verses, words, and commentary to help you understand. I've got to go to work, so I can't add much more to this, just know you have the pleasure of living in the most critical spiritual times in human history.

Thank you for all that. I agree with all you said. I see you too are a believer, PTL. Yes, I read my bible daily and like the blue letter bible site too. My grandparents taught me to hide the bible's words in my heart daily. I'm definitely a work in progress, as I live with parents who live like the devil and i have to try and stay clean while they're living worldly. 😧 Thankfully my grandparents have been a great encouragement to me in life. You know your bible; I'm impressed. My pastor told me no talk of the church after ch 4 in revelation too. That comforts me. I don't believe we will live through wrath, but we will likely have some serious persecution soon. Scary times, but also very exciting. Nice to meet a fellow believer on here. 😃 Thanks for the words of encouragement.

What a relief, you are in a good spot. My Dad was an avowed atheist, my Mom a believer, so I understand a little bit about your situation. Mockers will get more intense in their mocking and scoffers will try to hit us all harder as well. That's where Paul's encouragement to pray without ceasing becomes critical. Every one of us struggles with staying clean in the world, and every one of us fails (I worked in the oil and gas industry for over 30 years and there are certain words that express a specific meaning and emphasis that I keep using and would never say in church- my struggle to clean up), but as you know God is very faithful for those who have faith. As I said, you are in a good spot, keep fighting the good fight and as best you can, always do what is right no matter what the consequences might be. Pray for the lost, no one should go through what is to come.

Yesterday I got the opportunity to witness to an 80 year old homeless woman. It was humbling. I wouldn't give her money but made sure she was not starving. It was sad and she looked so rough.... but she listened well and seemed interested. I gave her a bible and bottled water. Hope she finds LIVING water.

Everyone needs salvation, glad you didn't assume anything about her eternal life.

Absolutely. I assume all strangers are unsaved until they tell me otherwise. I don't judge them, but pray for them like they're unsaved. Time is short.

Thanks for sharing about your family
It's nice to meet others who go through similar life issues...though I wish my parents and both yours were saved, but everyone has their own choice to make...but we keep sowing seeds in the hope's they will repent & accept. Funny, I feel an urgency like never before to draw close to God bc of world events. A lot of my Christian friends are wishy washy about it all. They love God, but they want to have fun and not think about heavy stuff. Guess I'm cursed with being a deep thinker. My grandpa told me this is not a bad thing. I'm gonna keep doing my best. Nice chatting. You keep up the good fight too. 😊
