But certainly elements who are either Fascist, anarchists or Criminal are the ones high jacking these protests, breaking into buildings, starting fires, and organizing looting
Once the protests devolves into chaos the riots follow and opportunistic individuals join in the melee

But protests now have been civil especially lately

I was reading about two specialty bookshops that were deliberately burned in Minneapolis last week. First edition, signed books that are out of print were destroyed. Those can't be replaced. When the police there abandoned their precinct house to the mob, the evidence rooms were torched- how many criminals will get away due to that? The peaceful protesters need to know that they were used as cover for terrible injustices.

I agree that what happened was wrong in business being burned or records being lost.
