As Obi Wan talked about points of view, from Grievous' point of view, the Jedi were evil. His people had been massacred by them after they tried to resist an invasion of alien praying mantis, who happened to have links to the republic. Understandably, he was pretty angry. He never set out to lead the droid army, he was just half-assassinated, turned into a cyborg and put there when he would rather be dead

Oh yeah, you're right. I do like general Grievous but a lot better in the original cartoon clone wars
