STANDING in solidarity and wanting Justice for Floyd is one thing, BOWING your knee to criminals, thugs and terrorists, while also apologizing for your whiteness, in and attempt to appease them is another.
The optics doesn't look good. The point is the propaganda media and people on the left are conflating the rioters with peaceful protesters. It's one thing for an officer to say hey we stand with you and we want Justice for Floyd. It's another thing entirely to bend the knee in submission because it pays the optic that the police are being submissive to rioters and thugs.
Don't believe me, don't take my word for it. Look at the difference in how the police handle things in a leftist city versus how they handle it in a conservative town. In many leftist towns they are tripping all over themselves to not engage rioters.
SO AS TO NOT OFFEND HIS MAJESTY FURTHER, I HEREBY RESOLVE THAT WE KNEEL LOWLY BEFORE HIS IMMENSE POSTERIOR... ...AND PUCKER OUR LIPS EVER SO INTIMATELY AND FIRMLY TO HIS MAJESTY'S DERRIERE. APPEASING TYRANTS AND BULLIES IS NEVER A GOOD IDEA.
