Telling off the trolls just feeds them attention, so in my opinion, I would say yes to deleting trolling comments (I respect your opinion though), because if you keep ignoring the trolls, they'll get bored and stop. Plus, there's a block feature where you can block the trolls, so you won't have to read their comments.

Yeah, if Mods don't get around to deleting a comment until 3 weeks after, that totally defeats the point.

Even the option of deleting comments period isn't a great solution because you still have to see the hateful comment in order to delete it.

The best solution of all is for memers to just not be hateful to others.
