First off, I don't think Martin Luther King Jr. should be on here, he was against violent protesting.
Anyway, it's the George Floyd protests (riots) that "win". In my state (Michigan) governor Whitmer had previously described protesting as "unpatriotic" when people protested the lockdown. Now that all this stuff is happening though, she's changed her tune. She wants to set aside safe areas where people can protest this stuff (what a hypocrite). I'm not saying that peaceful protests of George Floyd's death would be wrong, because they wouldn't. What's wrong is the rioters destroying people's livelihood and ransacking businesses. What's also wrong is a governor who can't seem to swallow her own political bias/agenda and her lust for power. Thank you.

These protests are getting out of hand, I might have to cancel a trip because Illinois has closed the exits in my area because there are rumors of "organized rioters" coming from Chicago to vandalize and riot. It isn't even about George Floyd anymore. And the police are just as mad about it too. The coronavirus seems to be fading in the background, but this is waking our country up even more. So I have to say the protests

Just to clarify, NOT ALL PROTESTORS ARE VIOLENT, NOT ALL WHITES ARE RACIST, AND NOT ALL POLICE ARE VIOLENT. Didn’t wanna spark up controversy
