Flat Screens Matter

Ah.. ya I guess if you've got a group, a cart, and a lack of f*cks to give, decent size TVs could be stolen. (Someone else had mentioned it and I was thinking how tf would someone steal a TV worth stealing.. ie 50"+)..

A 55" is well under 60 pounds so I dont know but unless your very slight and or weak then a new tv Isn't that heavy, just awkward. Then you just got to get it home.

really? The newer flatscreens must be lighter than my clunker. But ya, I was thinking the awkwardness mostly. And trying to conceal it.. looks like those guys are doing that sh*t in broad daylight though... pretty crazy.

Yeah lots lighter, i knew approx weight but I actually went and checked so as to be accurate as possible.
Interestingly though in relation to your thought of requiring trolley etc and why would they. There is one photo on here of a black guy maybe 15 year old walking with a tv. The box looks to have been opened and he has not got his fingers in the lifting recess cut into box. It looks like he is carrying an empty box. Is he carrying an empty box? I cant know for sure, but it now makes me wonder if A, he could be that silly to be pretending to have one or B, were some of the stills and video of people carrying them away fake photo set ups to incite people to anger over property theft/looting.

Well sure if you wanna be skeptical I don't think there is anything in this picture that necessarily shows that theft is occurring... guys lifting boxes that appear to have toppled over. Maybe it's a bunch of baloney maybe not.
