The idea is that he thinks we're stupid enough to believe that he even knows what's in between the covers of that book. And everything he does and says is about his own fragile ego. He couldn't care less about the protestors who are sickened and outraged by what happened to Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and so many others

And unlike all the Blue Governors who's states are burning to the ground, and they do nothing. Trump leaves the white house and walks to this church to demonstrate that he isn't hiding.

Protests are real. Trump is fake. He sets the fire and then prentends he's the hero for putting it out. The protests have by and large been peaceful - until the Feds come in uninvited.
