i don't think the press is any more non-objective lately than at most times in the last 50 years. you have noticed, I guess, a particularly strong anti-Trump theme in the popular media over the last four years, and you naturally want to attribute that to dark motives. the alternative is to think that they're reacting correspondingly strongly to all of Trump's detestable words and behavior.

a lot of reporters get into the business because they're idealistic about telling the truth and fighting for justice. so Trump is exactly the sort of fellow who will raise their hackles.

the media are run as businesses because they are, so bottom line is going to be key. but make no mistake, Trump is a danger to the country and the world, so they'd love to kick his ass out.

You will notice that only YOU brought Trump into the conversation. No one else. What does it say if you are incapable of responding to any issue whatsoever without making about Trump? You did notice Fox has it's logo on this meme too, right? Or didn't you? 'Cause Trump. Because you think everything in the world has to revolve around Trump? You can think whatever you want AND acknowledge the media is an absolute disgrace at the same time. Unless, of course, you have an utterly unhealthy obsession with Trump.

What if the media's lies have nothing to do with Trump, are they still ok then? What if, for example, their lies were about the relationship between police and black people? And what if the end results of those lies were that people would die, get hurt and lose everything? And what if they were doing it for ratings because they don't care who gets hurt. Would it still be ok for them to do that?
