Chrome and Firefox each have something the other doesn't. However, I cannot stand to use Firefox for more than a few minutes before I am driven insane by how much slower JavaScript runs in certain applications, and by how much better Chrome dev tools are than Firefox's. That said, Firefox is probably faster than most other browsers.
