Tou Thao was an accomplice to the murder of George Floyd and is, at the time of this writing, free to roam the streets!

Ask yourself this: If he hadn't resisted, would he still be alive?
Chance are just about 99.999999% that, Yes, he would still be alive.

Merryprankster He did not resist and even if he did does that give the police the right to execute him?
Or are you going to say that the officer “feared for his life” and therefore was justified in the use of deadly force?

You don't know that. The cop didn't "execute him". Cops don't, as a rule, put their knee across ones neck unless that are actively resisting.

I am not a cop-lover, but I also don't jump to conclusions when it comes to this. Too many times in the recent pass it has turned out the "video" doesn't tell the whole story.

I would never want you as a juror...you would come to your conclusions before you heard the evidence.

But you don't care one way or the other, as long as your meme gets upvotes, your good. Right?

Merryprankster whatever happened prior to the start of the video is irrelevant! What is relevant is that Mr. Floyd had three (yes three as shown by another video from another angle) officers kneeling on him while he was handcuffed. Was Mr. Floyd trying to flee? Was he trying to grab for the officers gun while he was handcuffed and face down on the pavement? Whatever it was that he was doing does not allow the police to choke him out! The murderer Chauvin kept his knee on Mr. Floyd’s neck for three to four minutes after Mr. Floyd became unconscious and stopped all movement (resisting). What more evidence do you I want? Do you want the eyewitness testimony of the female firefighter demanding that they take his pulse? Do you want to read the paramedics report that Mr. Floyd was lifeless and had no pulse when they arrived? What part of the story are we missing that could possibly point to this being a justifiable use of deadly force?

I don't disagree with 99% of what you said.
But I am not ready to say he or anyone else is guilty of murder.

All I am saying is I wasn't there, neither were you. This, of all places, is the wrong forum to judge the guilt or innocence of anyone for murder.

If and when he and others are found guilty of denying his civil rights and murder, I would gladly volunteer to put a bullet through their head.

In the meantime, people are using this incident as a either a political vehicle or an excuse to riot, vandalize, and loot.
Others, I suspect, are using it as a current hot topic to make memes that further divide us...

I agree that this is not the forum to judge the guilt or innocence of anyone for murder. And yes I was not there. Had I been, Mr. Floyd may still be alive and I would be in jail for assaulting a police officer. I would have charged Chauvin and knocked him off of Mr. Floyd. You can be certain that had I done that I would have immediately been booked into jail. Then I would have the opportunity to argue my case in a court of law to defend my actions. But the justice system seems to act differently with respect to law enforcement officers. The Baltimore Chief of Police is on the record as saying that there is enough probable cause to lay charges against the officers involved. That is his “professional” opinion and people around the world are expressing their opinions as well. As I write this the citizens of Minneapolis are burning down parts of the city including the police station. They can see an injustice and they want charges laid. Then let the officers defend their actions in the correct forum which is a court of law.

Oh, bullshit. You wouldn't have done shit. Keyboard warrior.
And then to go on and condone the lawlessness of the mob further tells everyone that you are full of it. Like you said, a court of law is where this should play out, not in the streets by a mob of looters and vandals.

Merryprankster you do not know me nor do you know what I stand for and what I will or will not do in any given situation. I implore you to show any evidence of my condoning the “lawlessness of the mob”. I have not condoned nor do I condone “lawlessness”. Are you equating, saving a persons life by intervening when you witness a savage attack on another human being, as lawlessness, regardless of who the attacker is?

You are revealing that the “government” considers internet trolls as “essential workers” in this time of a “pandemic”! Go troll somewhere else!

You lead us all to believe that you condone mob violence when you used the sentence "As I write this the citizens of Minneapolis are burning down parts of the city including the police station. They can see an injustice and they want charges laid."

Furthermore, you are just as bad as 99% of the left when you take what I wrote and twist it to say that I "... you equating, saving a persons life by intervening when you witness a savage attack on another human being, as lawlessness, regardless of who the attacker is?" I never said that or meant that. I only said that you are full of billshit when you say you would have intervened. I still call BULLSHIT on you.

Your last two senences "You are revealing that the “government” considers internet trolls as “essential workers” in this time of a “pandemic”! Go troll somewhere else!" is indicative of all you on the left when someone points out the fallacies of your argument.

I am surprised you haven't called me a "RACIST" yet

Merryprankster once again calling BULLSHIT on me shows that you do not know me or what I stand for.

My comment about the citizens burning down parts of the city was merely pointing out the fact of the matter and that the people perceive the injustice to be severe enough to engage in unlawful actions in “retaliation”. I did not lead you to believe anything. You made your own inference as to what I meant by my statements.

There are no fallacies in my arguments, just you engaging in your profession as an internet troll. A paid provocateur.

I will not be calling you a RACIST nor making any implications as such.

I understand that you are paid to do a job and that you must report to your supervisor as to all of your trolling comments. You should be happy that you are still gainfully employed while so many have lost their jobs due to the Covid-19 “situation”.

Once again, go troll somewhere else! I have no more time for your “pranks”.

This concludes our discourse. I will not be making any further replies to any comments you make.

You can tell your boss that you gave it your best shot!
