That only counts for a regular d6 die. When you have a regular d20 die the opposite sites will always add up to 21, and a regular d8 die will always count up to 9. And yes, those dice exist... I've my complete set of dice, containing a d4, d6, d8, d10 (plus the 10s d10 to make a d100), d12 and 20... I've actually two sets.
