Okay Tojo, I get it, we're the same only opposite.
(sorry, we're out of replies here, so I'm replying to your previous message.)
Actually, I don't view the political spectrum as a horizontal line, but more as a circle. That';s why I generally consider any political group that believes in violence and intimidation as a means to achieve an end, to be similar to the point of them blurring together entirely.
Also, for example, I don't believe there's any daylight between "communism" as practiced by the CCP or in Russia, and what others may call right wing dictators. It's only marketing, because where the rubber meets the road, they believe the same thing about how to run a govt, and believe the same thing when it comes to oppressing their citizens.
I'm not ignoring anything. (hey, isn't is usually me who accuses you of ignoring my questions?) If I had to speculate, I'd say that the theme to which you allude, is summed in what you wrote here: "Its the same o’ same o’ Rightist need of constantly looking for something and someone to vent that molten core of hostility upon"
Am I right? If not, then I'm not ignoring, I just missed your point. Either I'm too slow, or you write in a way that you believe to be clear, but actually isn't clear to others. Naturally I'll come down on the side of the latter being the case... hehehe...
And fwiw, I believe some republicans are fascist. I have no love for republicans. I only defend Trump (who had to pick one party or another... he'd have chosen dem if he thought he could win as one) against made up bullshit. I don't see anyone picking things up for the republicans where he's going to leave off after his second term. But that's an eternity away in terms of politics. We have to get 2020 squared away first.
