Something we created. If you think about it, yes some things are mathematic, but only when you look at them through that lens. We shouldn't limit ourselves like that, because it shuts out beauty and art and things like that.
The ways we express it are invented but the underlying priciples are universal. Now some of the definitions are inspired by life but certainly not most of them. But everything that follows from any set of definitions is universal - infact, it couldn't be any different in any other universe either.
I'd say math is invented. Because often, advanced mathematical equations produce answers that don't exactly line up with reality. Look up, "TED-ED don't divide by zero" on YouTube, and you'll see what I mean.

I think that its something that we discovered, then we created different aspects of it
(THIS ONE WAS A LONG ONE.....); IS MATH SOMETHING THAT HUMANS CREATED OR SOMETHING WE DISCOVERED? IS LOOKING AT REALITY MATHEMATICALLY AN ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF HOW THINGS WORK?
