These tweets a few weeks ago (when almost all states were in some sort of lockdown) made it plain as day. Something looked suspicious about these 3 states -- sure enough, I looked it up and all 3 were run by Democratic governors. And all 3 are purple states.
It's plain to see Trump is turning the virus into a wedge issue to fuel his re-election campaign.
Reminder that lockdowns wouldn't have even been necessarily in the first place if Trump had recognized the dangers early on like some other countries (South Korea, Taiwan, etc.) and taken appropriate actions such as tracking & tracing.
Instead, he waited far too long -- and we had to basically shut down society as a result. The irony is how those same necessary measures came to be blamed on Democrats and Democrats only.
