Ginny almost got herself killed in the 2nd novel, so she too almost got killed multiple times.

Wow. Didn't think of that. But still, Ron was in danger more times than Ginny.

The only two times that Ron's like was on the line I can remember was in the chess game, although he sacrificed himself there (although he survived), and the moment that he unwitting drunk poison (which was meant to kill Dumbledore) being saved by Harry who remembered most poisons can be stopped with a bezoar. But perhaps there were more times...

Ron did accompany Harry on his hunt for the Horcruxes, so that would have some, though not life-threatening danger, however, they were caught and brought to Malfoy Manor, which was really dangerous.

True, but I don't remember direct attacks on Ron (or in the poison case, him getting target of an attack mean for somebody else). Ginny has also done risky things such as accompanying Harry in the battle in the department of mysteries (the battle in which Sirius got killed), not to mention she was also part of Dumbledore's army in the year Harry, Ron and Hermione were on Horcrux hunt and that was also not something you do easily if you value your life.

Ron also accompanied Harry in the DA and the Battle of the Ministry. Wow, this is a hard decision.

I meant in Harry's 7th year... Then Ron was not part of DA in that year, but with Harry hunting for horcruxes (which was also risky), but Ginny was with Neville and Luna in DA, which was not a very safe thing to do with two Death Eaters in the school as teachers (teaching Muggle Studies and Dark Arts respectively). Ron and Ginny were indeed both in DA (Ron even being a founding member) in year 5, but then the worst thing that could happen was expulsion, as Umbridge would really have gotten in trouble if she actually killed people (not to mention how Fudge would then pay dearly, since she was under his orders after all).

True, true. So who was in more danger? Man, this is a tough question. Anyone have an answer!?
