The reality of the friendzone.

You know girls don't owe you anything, right? They don't have to be friends with you nevermind anything else.

They make up like, 50% of the population, there will be other opportunities.

I know that, this is just a metaphorical showing of just how crushing it is for a guy to be friend zoned by a girl they like. I have had this happen to me, and it is soul-crushing.

Yeah, I get that. It's worth knowing for future reference that a lot of relationships start off as friendships.

My first crush was my best friend, she figured it out in 7th grade, though... But the friendzone is very difficult to make it through, because you have to deal with the fact that you will most likely have to live through them having many boyfriends... and it sucks having to stand by and watch. Me and her aren’t friends anymore after I realized she is a terrible influence, and is a bad person...

Or you develop a meaningful friendship and have someone to give you invaluable insight about girls?
Rather than standing by and watching, you can give advice and support when it's needed.

Yep, and it will be INCREDIBLY awkward, but there are always two outcomes, you either get over her, and decide it’s better to stay friends, or wait it out in hopes of your feelings being returned, also known as the Hard Way. And in the incredibly rare occasion that she returns those feelings, that’s great! But that might never happen... ah, well. I already said I wasn’t friends with my first crush anymore anyways.

Beware, guys. And girls, you guys have way too much power over the average teen male, so be nice.
