oh i just searched it up and it said, "the entrance to the common room is concealed in a stack of large barrels in a nook on the right hand side of the kitchen corridor. Tap the barrel two from the bottom, middle of the second row, in the rhythm of 'Helga Hufflepuff', and the lid will swing open.

They say that the kitchens are near the hufflepuff common room.

I'm pretty sure they don't say that. They just say the kitchens are behind the portrait of the fruit bowl and you have to tickle the pear.

They do say it. (I'm going to stop replying now)

i literally just went into the Goblet of Fire and they never say anything about the Hufflepuff common room.
