I took a "vacation" to Arizona on March 10th. I went for MLB Spring Training. The first day I was due to attend a game, they cancelled everything and this fiasco began. Two days later, shortly after returning from Costco with a new laptop, I became extremely sick. I had a crazy sore throat, a bad cough that was excruciatingly painful due to the sore throat, a horrible fever, chills, body aches, headache, etc. I was bedridden for 5 days and still sick for another 2 weeks. I could not get tested for COVID-19 because testing had not yet began for the masses.
It's important to make a distinction between "coronavirus" and COVID-19 because there are many coronaviruses out there. Many of them are responsible for the common cold (so are rhinoviruses, etc) and what Captain_Scar describes below sounds more like a cold than COVID-19. Right now, as I type, I am again very ill with a similar illness. The past 6 days have been pure torture, but I am finally feeling a little better.
I'd say I was/am very likely infected with COVID-19. My primary physician has already told me to take the COVID-19 antibody test and I'm gonna take it. When I do and I have the results, I will publish them here.
Cheers!
