But... all of their superhero shows are AWESOME!
Still.... settle down on the gay stuff! It is just over the top!

Sorry, but we gays want characters who represent us. So get rid of the homophobic asshole

It's not being homophobic.... it is being realistic.
In my entire school of over 2000 people, there were 9 gays... nine... and all my friends cause about half are in drama. But that is a small number of the total population.
I can see wanting to be represented... but not in every single show, and getting into their love lives, when they don't get into the love lives of the other characters is just weird!
I don't care what a person does behind closed doors... but the way Hollywood does it... I feel like they are blatantly in our face and shoving it down our throats constantly.
If they made straight characters so sexually after each other all the time, I wouldn't watch it... it isn't completely about gay or straight... I don't care what your personal preferences are...I like when characters flirt, and I can 'ship' them,,, but it usually doesn't go very far, or takes a LONG time... with the gays, they are like all over each other from almost the start.
With CW superheroes, it is all about the geekiness, the gadgets, the friendships and alliances, the awesomeness. Adding all the overt gay storylines takes away from the fun.

"I feel they are clearly in the face and constantly pushing us in the throat" is funny, because that's what always happens to us gays. However, it is impossible that in your school there were only 9 gay guys out of 2000 students because most of them were hiding in the closet, since school (and society in general) is still a very homophobic place. So do not rely on the percentages you see on the sites because homophobia greatly affects the true percentage

Our school is very accepting of everyone, I am friends with nearly everyone. I am a total geek, but also a cheerleader. I am very involved in Drama, yearbook, newspaper and leadership. Most schools are cliché, our school is a rare exception, we know that. So if someone were gay, they would be accepted, cause we see people as a person, a unique individual and valued member of our group who has special talents, hobbies, interests. We celebrate our individualism, we encourage students to be themselves, their true self. We provide an environment to grow and become their best possible self. So if someone has an alternative lifestyle, they are not shunned, mocked, bullied or otherwise deemed inferior. It has been liberating for several students.
Now, all that being said, I think our school has a pretty good pulse on reality and what is going on.
Hollywood would like the world to think that a high percentage of the population is gay because of movies and stuff... but reality is, it is a low percentage.
Maybe you think it is higher cause you associate mainly with gays, I do not know, but what I do know is there is just too much of it in the media.

If 1% of the total characters are too much for you, then I don't know what to tell you anymore.
