Let's just see.
This isn't about the cases or deaths, this is the ratio between cases and deaths.
Which means at may 4th, there was a 6% difference between the cases and deaths.
As of October 30 it has shrunk to about 2.5% between cases and deaths.

The ratio of cases to deaths directly speaks to the quality of healthcare in a nation - if you have high cases and low deaths that means people who are sick are more likely to survive. It COULD be skewed when the virus hits high-risk populations etc(which is what the disclaimer on the graph explains) or higher/lower testing rates, however when you look at say the Oct. 30 graph below, the virus has been ongoing for more than half a year and it can no longer be considered the "outbreak" stage. The pandemic is in full swing and has been for months, as is testing. The POINT of the meme and posting the graphs is that US citizens are actually MORE LIKELY to survive a case of the virus than those in many other 1st world countries. People who act like we're the hardest hit nation in the world are delusional. You're much more likely to have lost a loved one or someone you know if you live in europe than if you live here, and europeans are currently much less likely to survive when infected.
