Both of those national parks had their budgets cut severely by the Trump administration.

I believe they were also opened up for mining exploration for the energy sector too were they not?

Yeah, I heard bits and pieces over the last oooooh gonna say 3 and a half years, I know quite a few have and that's horrible, we got some great parks here that we would never do that too, you can always come and visit, except for now, soon tho

A whole bunch of parks have been tapped for industry in the last four years, but for the life of me I cannot remember if Glacier National was one of them - so I just stuck to what I know to be true.
If you can confirm that, though, then so much the better!
