You can always just use the basic portrait, which is what many sites use if they don't have icons

there should be customisible icons but, only appropriate ones

Idk why you'd want it blank but custom icons would be cool. And you could either use just black or white as your icon depending on if you're on dark mode or not and it'll blend it and make it seem like no icon.
