Life involves risk. If you have a low risk tolerance, stay inside by yourself. Everybody is different. It’s a personal choice.

I personally would never ride a bicycle down a mountain at breakneck speed, as I would find that too risky. But I have no right to tell others they cannot assume that risk if they want to.

Yes, because we as a society need to take care of the elderly and disabled.

Then I hope you're very vocal when the Republican party makes more cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Thank you for your consistency.

Sorry I’m not controlled by any political party.

Neither am I. So I openly criticize any regime in charge.

So wait, now “my body my choice” is a conservative slogan? Because last time I checked everyone had the same rights to exist freely including sick people. In fact, also the last time I checked not everyone knew they might be more at risk. Hell YOU might be more at risk and not know it. YOU might be a carrier and not know it. So if a person with covid-19 feels well enough, it’s ok for them to just interact in public like nothing’s wrong and give it to you or your loved ones without a care?

Ohhhh I get it now, making ill-informed memes about it is part of a thesis you’re doing on your way to your medical degree ;)

“So if a person with covid-19 feels well enough, it’s ok for them to just interact in public like nothing’s wrong.”

Just as people that do have the virus may not know it, they will also NEVER know if the people they encounter in life have the virus.

That’s not going to change.

Therefore, people that make the personal decision to leave their homes to do all the things associated with living our lives must do so with the assumption that the people they encounter MAY have the virus.

Therefore, when they leave their homes, they have assumed that risk on their own accord, as have I when I leave my home.

You don’t want the risk? YOU stay home.

Businesses owners must also be free to decide on their own if they want to be open or not, and what restrictions or protections to have in place for their employees and customers.

And if people think a business may be too risky to visit or work at, then each person can make the decision on their own to visit that business or work there, using their own personal risk tolerance as a guide.

Other people have no “right” to create risk either. That’s why we have things like vehicle inspections, traffic laws, and laws in general. All things because you may not know you’re a violator.

And businesses wanted to be treated as individuals for tax purposes and such...then no they have no more rights than the people.

And everyone has all of their rights intact...this is all done state by state so if you don’t like the way you’re state is dealing with this guess what you have both the right and the freedom to do? MOVE!
