Now this needs to be frontpage. While it is more anti-liberal meme, it isn't trash. It is quite relevant and an accurate criticism.
The flaw of the MeToo movement was obvious the moment it gained a political lens. It faltered the moment when it took a few Democrats down. It became immediately inconvenient months after it became popular.
That said, I do think the message has some merit. We are too quick to say someone is lying rather than listen to their story. Though, without proof, it makes it harder for the victims to have validity. MeToo shouldn't have removed people but had valid victims, with proof, come forward and then let the courts decide what was true and what isn't. Instead, it became a way for people to democratically object to actors, lawmakers, and other people of interest.
