So I've chosen again to leave the site. There's just not enough to keep me interested here. The site has become full of kids, not very man good/interesting memes, too much arguments everywhere, nobody knows how to use the f**king upvote button, no old user really wants to be here anymore. Old users have all but disappeared. There's some great newer users like kewlew, nopa, TheKillerInTheBedroom., ThatKidOverThere, and Gryphonstar but it pales in comparison to the amount of great users that were here in 2016. I've been holding back too many responsibilities that I haven't done because hours have been spent on Imgflip. Back to refreshing the page thousands of times a day to see if I get a notification. The points have me addicted again too, but I simply don't want to have to get an entire 1.1 Million more points to tie back to my old account but that's just how it is, competitiveness gets to me. I was gonna consider deleting, but you only make that mistake once. A day for me to return is still on the table if older users return and the site gets fun again. But for now, I'm out.

I feel you, man. I definitely haven’t been on here as much as I was just a month ago, much less like I was in 2016-17. The site’s made some great changes like the multiple streams and dark mode, but it’s no replacement for the older users like invicta, jying, reallyitsjohn, Juicydeath, h2o and so many others.

I don't really know about streams, can be good and bad. It just kinda makes you think: Where the f**k do I post this? Fun and risk it getting buried deep? Just post it here? Memes_Overload? frontpage?

Personally I just post wherever I feel like, which is usually here, think tank, politics, and a couple smaller streams I own, mod, or had a hand in creating.

I just tend to follow some people and comment in batches. I rarely check the front page and just check out a half dozen streams.

I really miss the page 9ers like ghostofchurch, clinkster, coolermommy, wakester, shabbyrose, me, and you and Jying were the only ones there always who never deleted... hmm... it would be cool to have Page 9 parties but they change too frequently and with the multiple streams, and the fact there is no "Page 9" anymore, they don't have page numbers anymore.

Any word on why ghostofchurch deleted? He's one I really miss, and Jying and Juicydeath. H20 and reallyitsjohn were cool. Never really got to know Invicta, commented to each other like twice. Didn't really comment till the time he left.

It is what you make it. We need good users to revitalize the site, not leave it :’( Lets have a page nine party for old times sake.

For sure it's not the same site from 2016, some things are better some are worse. Those were good times back then and will always be part of Imgflip for me.

Hope to see you around occasionally, I'm glad that a return is still on the table.

True, but first of all, I'm not even sure I know what the issue or stream OOF-FOO is talking about, so I asked a question and took my best guess at it.

Second, I'm aware that SCP-173-Killer has never made comments. I tried to assist with that on one of their now deleted submissions which mentioned that problem.

There are ways around the issue. If they are inclined, SCP can communicate with messages via tagline or submission titles, meme captions, etc.

Seriously, I decided to take a two day break and comeback to this. I will miss you, you were fun, hilarious and a good member especially in the comment section. Very few have been able to keep up with me in thread chains but for the short time I knew, you met every joke I made with your own, just as funny if not more. We will all miss you, brave friend.

Our comment threads were great. That Mr. Krabs one killed me lol

Yeah, been here about 2 1/2 years fairly steady and I can’t argue with any of your criticisms.
I hope you and some of those “older” users come back one day.
