Really, they are both good shows once you get to watching them. I would say Samurai Jack is the easier one to get into since it doesn't require knowledge of the continuity, outside of season five you could pop in any early episode and get a lot of enjoyment purely from watching Jack wander around getting past some very insane things in his many attempts to get home, like the time where he fought a family of redneck robots, or the one where he gets eaten by a deceitful giant two-headed serpent or even the one where he gets transformed in a chicken and is forced to fights in an animal deathmatch; and that's just covering some of the weaker episodes. Some of the best include anything with his rival and later best friend the Scottsman, a crossover episode with the movie 300, and an episode featuring him fighting in a mecha samurai
