Not to be a stick in the mud but I miss the deep discussions we used to have here. How can we bring it back?

I think it has alot to do with the old users who used to be really active and thought up some great discussion questions aren't around as much. I myself can't hang out here like I used to. It would be great to see you post again.

Idk if it's just my luck or whatever but whenever I try to have a good conversation with someone on here it always ends in some kind of argument. I would love to have some good meaningful talk just as much as you.

Is it other young users? I've never had a problem with most of the longtime users here. But yea, I see the 1856 comments on some of the memes here and I know it will probably have nothing to do with the question, lol

If you want meaningful talk ignore the trolls, take arguments elsewhere. This is not the stream to argue but friendly debate is encouraged.

I normally don't pay much attention to the username, but it might be the younger users (I say as I'm probably like the youngest person in the stream)

If the random question really encourages a rousing discussion on a topic that interests a wide range of people of various ages then by all means post it here! If it can be answered with a yes or no, is just for personal benefit or something that could just as easily be answered in the million other streams here like imgflip reference questions, then please post it elsewhere.

But that's not what you do here-

It's breaking the rules of the stream.

I did one asking how old Imgflipper's were which I guess can be considered random questions. The other 2 I did I think would belong: "What's the scariest moment of your life?" and "How has the shutdown affected you?"

I keep looking at my memes and seeing more questions than actual memes. I like having discussions, whether real, deep, or just what's your favorite drink.

Well, maybe if you think of a really good discussion starter post again! I think young minds are capable of great thoughts, that's what I like to see here. I like to get beyond the mundane in this stream, that's what the rest of imgflip is for. :)

Do you think they can be called "Teens"? They seem too immature

I was going to make it Think Tank Jr but thought Teen would appeal to most of the younger users who seem about middle school or high school age. If the occasional 8 year old (in mentality or physically) joins us there that's fine with me so long as they leave the childish questions out of the adult Think Tank.
