16 year-olds voting... Which would effective mean their teachers get extra votes

To REGISTER!

The idea being that you can register to vote when you will be 18 at the next election. Elections are two years apart, so the form you're looking at says 16.

Not all elections are 2 years apart. Many state and local elections (and, of course, special elections) happen more frequently.

Yeah, and you wouldn't be allowed to vote in those if you're not 18! You're wrong on this! You are so very wrong!

He's saying that there's a time difference between registering and voting. Are you aware that 16 year olds do not stay 16 forever?

With the exception of victims of school shootings, racist attack fatalities, homophobic attack fatalities, lack of access to affordable healthcare etc...

And if they're the kind of person hanging around shopping malls asking young girls if they need a sugar daddy, you can almost see why they'd think 16 year olds never get older.

NOBODY is letting 16 year olds vote! This is one of the many many states where they let 16 year olds register - JUST REGISTER - on the condition that they will be 18 when the election happens.

It's not that unusual! Read the rest of the registration form if you don't believe me.
