Great point! It did work incredibly well for Bloomberg. You probably didn’t know who he was prior to his short presidential bid. Also I’m not running for president so I don’t need you to like me. I’ll just laugh knowing that 10-15 of my views are just you taking the bait
You’re not running for president. You’re not trying to make money. You don’t need people to like you. So why are you posting your meme everywhere? Zero sense.
Great point! you arent doing any of those things either! why do you post memes? Maybe I do make money doing this. maybe I work for someone who is running for president?
Yeah, it really begs the question: what are the parameters for reaching the top of the politics stream? that meme there was made by another user and it seems to be in the same boat. 12k views, 4 up-votes. Many memes in front of it with ~150 views and 5-8 up-votes I reverse image searched it on Tiny Eye and didn't find any matches.

The only way to make the top of politics is to be a repulican, right wing, conservative, pro trump meme, I've never made the top of politics, politics too occasionally
I have noticed that. Maybe views generated from other websites are weighted less than views from imgflip... weird... as
as for the reason the right wing memes dominate... i think they're just easier to make. I feel no ill will toward people like Adam Schiff, AOC, or Nancy Pelosi. But if I did and I made memes about it... the right wing crowd seems much more willing to up-vote a meme if it just checks a certain trope box. Im sure some of the memers here who share those opinions developed them completely on websites like these.
Hey, yeah I read what others said. I have had similar thing happen 3 times. I put it down to the tag lines. My Guess is the Chloroxy? whatever that is you have written or the word disinfectant combined with trump.
I had experimented with tag line when Corona virus was first developing in the world. I had several memes in memes overload with different countries which hadn't experienced any cases . The memes said first case of corona in ,i.e sweden. And then I put a street scene or image related to the country with an inserted picture of a case of corona beer. Nothing happened necesarily immediately but once the memes were left on and cases developed in those areas then views went up. This meme is more or less topical at this moment. So i would put a few dollars on the tag lines as the reason but add that their may be something in it that triggers a particular search engine algorithm. As you will note only 7 up's which would be ridiculously low if it was just imgflip traffic.
I just checked to see and on my browser ,bing it doesnt show. So maybe who knows.
[image deleted] It isn't impossible that it's being shared overseas. But I think it's an algorithm which is picking up on misspelled words and that screenshot above has an indication of it when it asks "did you mean" and or its just tag line words creating high rating in search response. .
I found it didn't show in images and then I switched back to Web results and then it came up in the first views.
I've attached one I did that did 7500 views, in that one I'm guessing it came up early with a search for Tom hanks and covid19 in meme and description.
Lots of interest here on this subject will maybe get it over 25000 views.
