I am a white conservative married to a first generation Hispanic immigrant, I lived with a gay man for two years that I cherish as a close friend, I counted African Americans as some of my closest friends, I have Muslim friends who are wonderful people, I volunteer at a local food shelf in my local community and I regularly donate to veteran, animal and women's programs.
