Dobby does look a little alien-like, but I think Snape surrounded is a metaphor for his obessive love for Lily.

I wish. I'm not too good at art. I think anime art is really impressive, and I'm practicing but I can't get the hang of it just yet.

I felt the same way; I think it's Snape because beneath him are Remus and James so it should be the guy with earring is Sirius.

Absolutely. This could only be done by somebody who knows the Harry Potter franchise well. There are a few persons I am not fully sure about if I recognized them well.... From down to up
Albus Dumbledoor, Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, James & Lily Potter, Sirius Black, Rhemus Lupin. I think the one in the flower bed is Severus Snape (as a teen), and I think the one holding Gryffindor's sword is Neville Longbottom, with Luna Lovegood, to the right of him. I am not sure about the old person left of him. Well furhter up of course Rubeus Hagrid, Dobby, Nymphadora Tonks, Minerva McGonagall. The woman beside her I am not sure about. Then Fred(left) end George Weasley. Percy (the one with glasses, I believe he also had glasses in the book), Ginny, Bill and Fleur Delacour. I think above Bill and Fleur are from left to right Charlie, Arthur and Molly. Then Regileus Black and Kreacher (both wearing Slytherin's locket), Draco Malfoy, Nagini. Above that Bellatrix Lestrange, and Narcissa and Lucius Mafoy, and alst but not least, Tom Riddle aka Lord Voldemort.

Not fun fact, the only Marauder not shown is Peter Pettigrew... I guess this artist also hated him for his betrayal (a lot of fans making art of the Marauders replace Pettrigrew with Snape, due to this hatred, since even though Snape and the Marauders hated each other, Snape's allegiance was with Dumbledore in the end and Snape showed himself a brave man where Pettigrew was a coward).

Nice job! Yeah, I'm also not sure who the two older people are next to Neville and Professor McGonagall. Professors, maybe? I think the illustrator was right to leave out Pettigrew because, even though he died for Harry in the books, he was a real jerk, and he sold out James and Lily to Voldemort. I especially like how Snape is lying in a bed of lilies which shows his deep devotion to Lily until the end.

I can understand Peter's fear, but that does indeed not justify his betrayal. I've seen many fan-art of the Marauders where Peter is either not shown at all, or where the artist vented their hatred by drawing a dead (quite often also mutilated) rat.

One of the names that comes to mind for the woman standing next to McGonagall is Dolores Umbridge (whom I despice more than Pettigrew btw). The shape of her face, and most of all her PINK collar make me think that. But I am absolutely not sure about that one.

The old person next to Neville puzzles me a lot. Not even fully sure about that person's gender, but I think it's a guy. The fist name that popped in my head would be Ollivander (the wandmaker). This maybe due to the girl next to Neville most likely being Luna. Luna and Ollivander were both held prisoner in Malfoy's mansion and Luna was of great support to Ollivander. But really this is merely a wild speculation as I'm trying to get through the older key characters Harry met during his time in the books. Perhaps somebody else has another possibility. :)

I agree, much fan-art leaves out Peter, and I understand why. At first glance, I thought that the woman next to Professor McGonagall was Professor Sprout, and it is a possibility. And the person next to Neville could be Ollivander (good observation, by the way) or it could be Xenophilius Lovegood, Luna's dad. But I don't think he was at the Battle of Hogwarts. Just a thought, but who in their right mind would put Umbridge next to these heroes, let alone Professor McGonagall!

Sprout is also one of the names that popped up, but I imagined her to show more plants around her and more of a gardener's kind of outfit. I've also been thinking about Poppy Pomfrey, but I imagined her to be more nurse-line in outfit. Indeed Umbridge among the heroes, most of all Minerva, is quite odd, but then again, Voldemort and the most prominent characters in his gang are also shown, but they do indeed have their own part.

When it comes to the person next to Neville, Xenophilius is also a name that popped to mind, although I did always imagine him to be extremely weird in clothes and with long hair, not to mention with the mark of the Deathly Hallows, and that is something I missed, and I think the artist who had that much heart for the franchise wouldn't leave that one out. I've even considered Aberforth Dumbledore, however I pictured him to be more bewildered, and just like this brother, to have a long beard. I personally deem Ollivander most likely.

Madam Pomfrey is a good guess too! I was thinking the same thing with Xenophilius, but you never know with him. I did look for his Deathly Hallows pendant, but, then again, maybe Neville is covering it up. Aberforth is a good assumption, but it's rather unlikely. By the way, I really like the little details the artist added to make the designs pop. Like the rip on Neville's sweater, invisible tears coming from Fleur' eyes, the ribbon in Lucius Malfoy's hair, scratches on Remus's face, Sirius's earrings. They all say something a little something extra about the character.

Yeah now that you mention details, I can't imagine the mark Deathly Hallows would be left out when the artist had eye for detail when it comes to Xeno. I also liked to see the snitch next to Harry's head, not to mention him holding two of the Hallows. The Elder Wand, and the "sheet" in which we can see Dumbledore is likely the invisibility cloak. Speaking of details, I like Bill's dragon tooth. He really is "cool". 😁

I am a bit thinking what that thing in front of Hermione is. It looks like a vial, but given the fact that the snitch (what Harry got in Dumbledore's will) and the fairy tale book (what Hermione got in Dumbledore's will), I think it's actually the deluminator, as that would make the set for the stuff in Dumbledore's will complete (since that is what Ron got).

Lastly when it comes to details, look at Fred and George. George is the one on the right. How do I know? Because George is the one whose ear was shot off, hence the bandage around his head. Look in his eyes as he touches Fred.... A tear. This must be a reference to the fact that Fred dies in the last book and that George never fully got over the loss of his twin brother.

I would really want this drawing printed in large format and hang it on my wall. ;)

I know! It's absolutely beautiful. The vial is definitely the Deluminator because the artist shows the three gifts granted to the trio by Dumbledore. Fred and George made me cry. I just can't get over his death! No one can! I would know what to do if one of my brothers or sisters were to die. The way this picture portrays beauty, sadness, fear, confidence, dominance, courage, and peace is captivatingly perfect.

Yup... This is definitely one of the best fan-arts I've ever seen from the Harry Potter franchise.

Where do you belong on this post? Give reason why.

I belong at the very top with the Death Eaters because not only am I a Slytherin, I also am 97% Death Eater. Just about as Death Eater as Death Eater can get without actually being Lord Voldemort:)

Thanks. I believe Arthur is the one in green, Charlie is wearing the checked shirt (good observation), and Percy is the one down by Fred and George with the big glasses.
