If it never shut down, we could be at 700,000 deaths rather than 700,000 cases. I live in Vegas and our mayor is a bitch. She never wanted anything closed and still doesn't and compares it to the flu. She said "With a population of 3.2 Million, those that have died represent half of one percent of our state's population". The deaths in Nevada are well below 0.5% of the State, but if it was, that'd be equivalent to 16,000 and she still wouldn't give a f**k. Vegas is an extreme tourist destination and if the casinos and hotels stayed open, we would be up there among the biggest hot spots of Coronavirus in the world. Never happier that this bitch has no authority whatsoever over this.

FYI even Dr Fauci has written in peer reviewed articles that the current Covid 19 Appears to be no more problematic than the regular flu season and at worse would equal the 1957 and 1968 pandemic years.

It's way more deadly. The flu is only 0.1% death rate. The death rate isn't 2% for coronavirus, the closed cases it's 21%. Even higher in the U.S. at 36%, granted that percentage has been going down, but in the end, it'll be way above 2%. Flu doesn't spread as easy and is far less deadly. Coronavirus deaths will probably pass the flu deaths in the US, and it without social distancing and closures would've 100% passed it by now.
