Being snarky and snideness aren't always sins; you should see what Jesus Himself said regarding the Pharisees who contended with Him.

I wasn't comparing myself to Jesus at all, I point out He showed there are ways to use snark that aren't sinning. If I was doing that, which I'm not, that sin wouldn't be answering before hearing (which is what you just did here, by assuming I made a comparison to Jesus, so this is your folly and shame).

Since you keep avoiding the questions here, am I right that you got triggered by my criticism of the rationalwiki? I think you're trying to lash out at someone who dared attack something you care about.

When I discussed Jesus, I was attempting to show how it's possible to not sin when using snark. After double-checking I found that was not an example of snark, and I acknowledge I used the wrong passage as an example. After checking, I found that Jesus did use sarcasm, and sarcasm is an essential part of snark.

Jesus used sarcasm on the Pharisees who strove against Him.
"At that time Jesus went through the grain fields on the Sabbath, and His disciples became hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat. Jesus usually says this to the Pharisees, whose power rested on a superior knowledge of Scripture. When Jesus asks if they’ve read a Scripture before He explains it to them, it’s a taunt. They’ve read it; they just haven’t completely understood or internalized it.

Also, my comment about Jesus calling people "blind fools" was on the thread for another image, why are you commenting about it here? You just attacked me and avoided my questions on this thread, which is why I said I think you're insulted that I criticized rationalwiki; I'm saying what I think happened based on observation and your refusal to answer the questions. How can I listen to your answer if you don't give an answer?

You keep dodging my questions, avoiding my arguments, getting caught up in puerile personal attacks and now you're bringing an argument from one comment thread onto another comment thread; depending on how this happens, you may be heading the right way for a block.

If you cross that line, I won't mind if you get the last word in before making that decision. You can make every accusation under the sun against me (I think "you can't face the truth, so you're trying to hide from it" will get some usage). If you decide to block me first and pretend I backed down, go ahead, I'm resorting to this hoping it will get some coherency from you.

If you'd just answered my question about whether you have any regard for rationalwiki, and explained what brought you here, I would've accepted it and left it at that. But you didn't do that, though if you do so at this point, without going on a rant or personal attack, I'll accept your reason and leave the discussion at that (regardless of any doubts I may have, depending on the answer).
