We had a booming economy the past 3 yrs , people should have saved but nope everyone spent spent spent on vanity big pickup trucks , vanity weapons , vanity homes , vanity clothes ECT ... They invested in the stock market and as the market rose due to buy backs everyone had the illusion, they were wealthy , it is laughable !! . I'm a saver always have been .... savers are punished by this corrupt broken capitalist system but remember cash is always king in hard times, especially gold and silver too !!!!. We have a debt driven economy , its set up so no one has money saved away for a rainy day . These past 3 yrs I've heard more than my share of oh my 401k tripled !! I would respond cash is king ... I advised people to cash out in December because I saw this scam before ...I was told I had TDS ...lol they were so stuck on political ideologies they couldn't see they were being set up to be robbed just like in 2006-2008 , I lol because I heard them crowing about their 401k in 2005 and then they cried in 2008 about how much they lost !!! Man oh man did I lol because I know a 401k is not a secure investment , put in a little get in and get out when you made a profit go cash the stock market is like a casino these days ... Well here we are now ...3 months in and no one can pay their bills !! Even corporate America is in line for the socialist bailout in some cases . America has become a corporate fascist / capitalist / socialist country ...keep in mind we are being played on both sides of the aisle to fight among each other over political ideologies while the corporate political puppets aka leaders from both parties laugh amoung themselves while they enrich themselves with insider knowledge to get out of the market taking their money and small indvidual investors money too ...that is why they laugh the profit they made was off the small investor NOT from corporate profits ! Our leaders and corporate CEO's run this scam to enrich themselves at the little guys expense . Savers have been punished these past 30 Yrs. with low returns and then taxed on their small returns meanwhile people and corporations living way beyond their means debtors are rewarded with socialist hand outs ? THINK stop reacting and THINK and ask yourself would GOD approve of this scam ?? Someday we'll all find out but in the meanwhile we all need to learn to live way below our means ...stop being seduced by materialistic items .Do we truly worship GOD or these false materialistic items ?

I'm not going to disagree with a lot of what you've said there Blabbermouth. But the unfortunate fact is that many people do live paycheck to paycheck. I'm not going to dissect what they spend their money on as you have, because again, I would probably agree with a lot of what you've said.

However, if you know anything about me and what I post here on the flip, I strongly believe that those people, on the whole, have the ability to get out of that situation, on their own. No need to rehash that entire subject about why I feel they don't. The bottom line is, I've taken plenty of heat for that.

However, the simple fact is, people are in that situation, NOW. So we can't just let them starve when we have a crisis. To deny people something as simple as seeds, claiming that they're non-essential, in what is really nothing more than a power grab by a fairly unbalanced governor from Michigan, is not the humane thing to do, imo. I grew up very poor and learned a lot from that ...I save save save and buy second hand when ever I can or I do without and you know what I have no worries about $$$ , I have a paid in full roof over my head and food on my table , heck I even raised my kids to respect that Ben Franklin saying " A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned " they are thrifty too ! I grew up very poor also. I was poor well into my adult years. I decided enough was enough and did something about that. So I'll just mention again, that I'm probably in agreement with you about a lot of what you post.

I'm just saying, that regardless of how we got here; regardless of how these people find themselves in the situation they are in, we need to treat them like adults. We can't let power-mad governors who want to entirely shut down the economy for extended periods, very possibly twisting this situation into an opportunity to do nothing more than to attack president Trump for nothing more than political reasons, run roughshod over our rights. And Blabbermouth, I firmly believe that we have a right to buys some fcuking seeds!
