"Heavens above, are you weird."
Thank you.
Also nice quick upvote you gave yourself there. You should really stop that.
I'm 84. Surprisingly, I'm not suffering from any mental health condition other then minor OCD and dyslexia. I'm surprisingly fit for my age though, my knee has been giving me some problems and this whole pandemic thing has be cooped up. I'm sure you're just peachy.
You don't call people evil for just disagreeing with your or misunderstanding religion. Praying is good, talking to them is better. But I assume you do not have the skills equipped to actually converting them, or at the very least, seeing their perspective. It's convenient to call their perspective wrong while ignoring what it is that they are doing. I, however, have spoken to some of these individuals.
They think, and rightly so, that the Catholic Church has done more harm than good. I'm certain that you can at least partially agree with that. Just a guess, I would say you're probably Protestant or fall on the Protestant side of the denominations. But I could be wrong. Just statistically speaking, it's the Protestants who make the most fuss.
Which, honestly, makes the most sense since they were so critical of Catholicism (Which was the only denomination at one point. So, in a sense, Christianity.) So they separated after listing their grievances. And the religion continued to diversify into several denominations afterwards all because we couldn't agree on how to treat each other, or our personal struggles with sin.
So, when I see a group of children creating a church of Satanism, I didn't get offended. I assumed it was just another Pagan revivalist religion that blended Christian tenants with vaguely Pagan ones. Which, Christianity in and of itself is a bunch of Pagan Holidays all re-dressed to fit a coherent theme of Jesus and his teaches. Which may be one of the reasons why the religion is so problematic and at the same time was so prominently charismatic across Europe and Asia.
They do not worship Lucifer, in a sense, so much as wish people to respect each other, and most importantly, themselves. Not inherently evil. Are they perfect? No. What religion is. Of course, it's easy to assume yours is because, well, it's yours. You may have chosen it or it was thrust upon you. Or perhaps your faith had been tested at one point and you chose the religion that was thrust upon you.
Whatever the case may be, I don't see evil here.
