Most common arguments:
#1 R.A.P.E: R.a.p.e is often used to justify the murder of the unborn human being, but there are many plot holes to expose in this argument.
For one, circumstances (of birth) don't change the value of the unborn human being. An example of this brings us back to Medieval times; where the place of birth determined social status. We know today, that a certain family or location of birth should not determine where the hierarchy of (and the direction of) your life should go/be...
The argument goes as follows:
PERSON: "What if the woman is raped? What then? The woman should be forced to house these babies (many people use a disgusting term; 'crotch goblins.')!" She doesn't want a baby!
YOU: "For one, most cases of rape don't lead the mother to abort her child. In fact, less than 3/10'ths (three tenths) of a percent (250,000 women) have an Abortion because of R.a.p.e...So, would you only vouch for Abortion if a woman was R.a.p.e.d? Would you have Abortion made illegal in all other circumstances?"
Of course, the Pro-Abort would say no. They want Abortion to be legal in all cases! If they say yes, then the outcome and argument against abortion do not change...
PERSON: "No (or yes, it does not matter)!
YOU: "Why not?"
PERSON: "Because the woman is still getting raped!"
YOU: "Okay, well...To determine anything else, let me put things like this...There are three parties in the cases of rape (if a child is conceived at all). One, the woman. Should we kill her? No! She is the victim! Should we kill the rapist? Some say we should, but he or she gets at least 15 years in jail...Then why do we give the death penalty to the baby; the most innocent of all?"
PERSON: "Because she doesn't want the baby!"
YOU: "Wantedness is not a good basis for human value and life...Many homeless people are not wanted. Would you support their killing?"
PERSON: "(hopefully they say) No."
Other endings and other arguments will be typed later...If you have any questions, ask.
