Naturally, even attempting to chart a topic as subjective as "media bias" is a subjective exercise in itself. You can certainly quibble with the placements here on this chart, but they strike me as broadly accurate.

Your best bet for a straight-shooting, accurate news story is right down the middle.
Also recognize the difference between "fact reporting" and "opinion journalism." The latter involves more complex/provocative analysis, but is not necessarily worthless because of it. In fact, opinion journalism can be quite valuable.
I routinely read opinion sources as far left as MSNBC and as far right as FOX News. Exposing yourself to explicitly liberal and conservative perspectives is a worthwhile exercise, too.
Though I do not stray much beyond that into the fringes of explicitly partisan journalism -- I don't read Daily Kos or Breitbart, and I certainly do not read InfoWars. If I encounter a link from those sites, I typically don't waste my time.
