Fair enough. I actually think with the Senate and House getting up off their asses and passing huge bipartisan economic relief bills that are actually designed with the American worker in mind, I think we're doing just that.
There's been tons of critical partisan coverage of both parties in the politics and PoliticsTOO streams. But this obscures the bigger story that right now, both parties are mostly getting this right.
Going forward: Who knows? It's an evolving situation.
I'd like to be hopeful and believe as Trump does we can all get back to work by Easter, but I just don't know if we'll be ready by then.
We won't able to until we have one of these two things: (1) Universal testing in order to know exactly who has the virus, and who's had it and recovered; (2) A real vaccine/cure.
For some reason, quarantining only the older/at-risk folks isn't being discussed. Not sure why as that strikes me as a middle-ground solution, but perhaps it is just medically not feasible given how contagious it is and the possible risks for even the general population.
