Okay, but what is the arguement I need to counter?

I think that the president was wrong to issue “self-quarantine,”and that were all perfectly fine. We have survived worse pandemics than this in recent history even.

If all the facts we're being given are true, you are absolutely right. But the government's behavior doesn't mesh with what they are telling us. The logical conclusion is that they are lying. I don't know if the virus is more virulent than they are telling us, or if they are using the quarantine is being used to cover up something else, but I'm pretty sure we're being lied to.
