Stopping stupidity would be more prudent.

There is a big list to make why this quarantined situation will only work out for the worse, the virus itself if actually the least of our problems, at the present time. However, in order for it to happen, people will have to accept that the virus cannot be stopped unless we allow our own bodies to stop it. And we need to properly measure where the virus is, which is also only done when people are close to dying, while those people are only in danger themselves, while the ones spreading the dangers are not tested. Quarantining them won't work, all that will happen is that the virus will come back with a vengeance once the quarantine is lifted which must happen someday.

And time travel is the worst "solution" to everything. Doing that is even more dangerous than the end of the world.

I didn't know that time travel is dangerous, because no on told me the negatives of it

Perhaps you should look the Back to the Future trilogy as it already displays a bit of the dangers of time travel.

And in the case of corona, by going back in time preventing the corona outbreak to take place, you would become unaware yourself of the existence of the virus, and therefore not be able to go back in time, but hey, you were there... and well, you'd create a paradox in the process... The results will likely be far worse than Back to the Future shows... Best not to go there.

So I have to ask: Have you watched Doctor Who at all? I think they offer a more interesting explanation of time travel. Back to the Future follows the theory that time is linear where changing something minuscule in the past becomes a massive butterfly effect and drastically changes the future. Doctor Who’s explanation of time is that time is a bubble and you can jump around and not change anything as long as you don’t do something major.

I've only seen a few episodes, with... I don't remember his real name, any way, the guy who played Barthy Crough jr. in Harry Potter, as the Doctor. And I remember little of it. What is of course intersting to ask is what is "something major"... I mean Marty McFly thought he did something minor when he bought the Sports Almanak, but due to it getting in the hands of Biff, it became something major. And if you read Agatha Christie, you should always remember that the murder is always unmasked due to tiny details that you'd easily miss, but which turn out to be of great importance. "Something major" is as such rather subjective.

Yeah, maybe it's been a while since I watched Back to the Future

If we did that the Karens wouldn't stop using essential oils and deny that vaccines worked

It would be easy for some seemingly innocuous, unforeseen event to "snowball" into an even bigger calamity.

Oh no.

Yeah, no. Some idiot would still make it either way.
