Not Baaaaaad! LOL! We have tickets to see Bachman & Cummings at our Mile One Centre
in July...if the pandemic hasn't shut down public events! One of my favourite bands (worldwide) is The Guess Who and I was lucky enough to cross them off "the bucket list" some 25 years ago when they played at our old Memorial Stadium! Let It Ride Randyyyy! :)

Our beloved governor just shut down all public events with 250 or more people which includes our season hockey tickets. Schools are still open so I guess it isn't contagious in schools (not sure how the virus knows whether it's in an arena or school). I saw BTO open for Van Hagar on their 5150 tour and I thought Bachman Turner blew them off the stage ..rock on!!! :-)

Oh man that sucks missing hockey games...and I guess the schools may be next to shut down (I could post a "Hot For Teacher" meme, but I won't LOL!) I saw Van Hagar in the summer of '93 in an evening outdoor concert in Atlanta, Georgia...it was a great big show...but I wished it had been David Lee and not Sammy! :) Take care my friend!

Thanks for not posting a "Hot For Teacher" meme. Many schools are already shutting down voluntarily, but it looks like the rest will be forced two over the next couple of days. I saw the David Lee Roth version in the early '80's and must admit that was a far better show, even though I prefer Van Hagar. Both shows were in The Coliseum in Seattle which is currently being remodeled for Seattle's NHL team. My company is the main electrical contractor and the project is pretty impressive. Since the roof is considered an historic landmark they currently have it suspended and have demo'd the building below. Eventually they will rebuild the building and lower the roof on it. :-)

LOL! Monty Python's Quest For The Holy Grail is probably my fav Python film! :) Looks like they are suspending most of the big spectator events, which is probably for the best...I may have to blow the dust off an old book and try "reading" again! :) I haven't checked imgflip for awhile...has it become overrun with Tom Hanks/Forest Gump memes yet? LOL! Ciao for now!

The Grail may be my all time favorite movie. The governor went ahead and ordered all schools closed and hockey has been put on hold. I have a coworker that was planning a trip to Disneyland next month (as was my stepson). Yeah, it's gonna be weird for awhile. Haven't spent much time here either, but now that you mention it maybe I'll think about a Hanks/Gump submission LOL! Stay healthy, friend! :-)

LOL! Virus in Seattle looks great so far...looking forward to seeing the finished product! :) I remember watching the BBC series back in the early 80's but can't recall if I enjoyed it or not...the 80's are a bit foggy! LOL! Jesus, Donnie is on CNN now with all of his nodding bobble-head "task force" behind him...looks like he's "shutting down" any reporters asking "embarrassing" questions...I'm sorry, I just had to vent! LOL! I posted this "Hanx" meme earlier and it took a long time to get approved...they were probably trying to decide if it was "political" or not! :) Stay safe!

Thanks! It's still under construction LOL. I saw some of the series, but it didn't do the books justice so I didn't watch too much (The movie was worse). I still haven't figured out how memes feature, some that I wondered about featured right away and others that I thought were harmless took forever to feature. Anyway here we go...should be an interesting spring :-)

Good morning West coast, from the sunny, frozen island of Newfoundland! :) The "news" is all so depressing these days that I have taken a hiatus from watching CNN and I am feeling much better! LOL! It truly is going to be weird for awhile..."May you live in interesting times"...I look forward to "less stressful" times to come...all things must pass! :) Take care and keep on keepin' on! :)

Good morning East Coast from The Nation's Incubator. :-) Did somebody say, "Tom Hanks"? This is the first half of a Bad Photoshop Sunday submission. Unfortunately without sports there isn't much left on TV...maybe I'll reread "The Hitchhiker's Guide" series again. I'm wearing my "Don't Panic" tshirt as I type, but nobody around here is any good at following instructions. Maybe I'll just load up on beer and wait for The Vogons to make way for an intergalactic highway. I hope The Hitchhiker's references aren't lost on you, but if they are let me just recommend that no matter what happens, always have a towel. Stay healthy! :-)

Hey "Sportsless in Seattle" (or thereabouts) LOL! You can't beat some Johnny Cash! One of my older siblings must have had his "At Folsom Prison" album way back when...I can still remember singing along with Johnny and putting on a show...I was a bit of a ham! LOL! Spring? there's 5 feet of snow in my back yard and it ain't melting...we won't see grass until June! :) Take 'er easy my friend!

LOL! I worked in Alaska in the '80's and one of my coworkers had a Johnny Cash cassette that we listened to over and over. Loved it, but noticed the word "cry" shows up a lot in the lyrics. For the longest time my ringtone was the opening horns from "Ring Of Fire". Around here (northeast and thankfully upwind of Freeattle") we are like the Seinfeld of climates...never gets too hot, never gets too cold, we're like the break even region. Stay warm! :-)

LOL! Excellent punchline on that meme! :) The opening horns in Ring of Fire always makes me think of Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass...love it! My folks had the "Whipped Cream & Other Delights" album...I think I used to play it just to look at the album cover! LOL! I was very lucky to have been "raised" in the 1960's with a family of music lovers...and then came the 70's...lucky me again! :) See you at Photoshop Sunday! :)

Thank you! I was "raised" in the '60's in a house with three albums: Herb Alpert "Going Places", Herb Alpert "What Now My Love" and the soundtrack to "Oklahoma". I musta listened to "Zorba The Greek" a thousand times, still love it. Then we got a cassette player and the music flowed: Glen Campbell, The Carpenters, Bobby Goldsboro etc. etc. ad nauseam. Fortunately there were a lot of older kids in the neighborhood so I got my exposure to The Beatles, The Mamas And The Papas, The Monkees, The Who, CCR etc. Also, we watched The Smothers Brothers and Ed Sullivan so I too was very fortunate to have access to a wide variety of music. My cousin's neighbor had "Whipped Cream And Other Delights" and I dare say we spent our fair share of time looking at the cover. See you there. :-)

LOL! Croaklahoma! I was gonna reply with "The Sound of Moo...sic" LOL! I'm getting flashbacks of some of my parent's albums: Barbara Streisand, Connie Francis, Frank Sinatra, Al Martino, Engelbert Humperdink...oh and Elvis, of course! I think that I can still sing most of the songs from My Fair Lady with Julie Andrews (cockney accent and all) LOL! And thank God they had comedy albums as well...Nichols and May, Shelley Berman, Bob Newhart... some great memories! :) Is it the Joe and Bernie show tonight? Should be good for a few laughs. Bernie just better take it easy on Joe and avoid tripping him up...we don't need no more stinking gaffes! LOL! Have a relaxing evening!

LMAO! My parents had the "My Fair Lady" soundtrack as well...turns out it was way ahead of its time. Also Bob Newhart "The Windmills Are Weakening". I laughed myself silly at "Superman At The Drycleaners" and the security guard's first night at The Empire State building the night King Kong climbed it..."my jurisdiction only extends to his naval". Yeah, tonight it's Joe Versus The Volcano...my guess is that if Bernie makes Joe look too bad, his life expectancy will be shorter than Jeffrey Epstein's. :-) Laugh on Wayne!...Laugh on Garth!

It's a hybrid of Caitlyn and Michelle. Bob Newhart's standup was always hilarious and his shows were great...I remember Saturdays with Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart and then Carol Burnett with Tim Conway and Harvey Korman, talk about must see TV. For awhile All In The Family and MASH were the lead ins. Here's to your health! :-)
1 up, 5y
For my taste (and era) there's never been a TV "sitcom" that could ever compare to "All In The Family" and "MASH"...by the sounds of things, we musta been watching the same two TV channels...did you have a Quasar Motorola TV like attached pic? LOL!

Jeebus! Who is that man/woman meme? LOL? "Joe Versus The Volcano" eh? Another Tom Hanks meme? :) Just watched an old clip of Bob Newhart doing his Sir Walter Raleigh/Tobacco phone call routine on The Dean Martin Show: "Why not send us a boatload of those coffee beans, Walt? If you can sell people on sticking burning leaves in their mouth...they gotta go for those beans, Walt!" LMAO!
I have today's "Dem bashing" meme idea in my head, but I am struggling on how to poke fun at the Republicans...I may have to turn on CNN for some inspiration! :) Keep on rockin' in the free world!

Those shows were the best! We had a television similar to the one above and I think a couple of the legs weren't screwed in all the way because it always looked like they were about to break off. My cousins had an RCA with an acoustic remote and every time their dog's tags clinked together the channel would change LOL! :-)
