I think they should end it. I don't really see how it "saves sunshine in the summer", unless I got the system wrong.

In case you haven't guessed, I'm not a fan. I enjoyed my time in Arizona while I was there - no time change. (Except on the Navajo "rez," where they do observe DST.)
