I'm sorry, I know it's selfish, but I just can't take it anymore!

I'm tired of upvoting so many comments and having such long conversations without getting anything back! It's selfish, I know. But I just feel unappreciated and left out... I upvote so many comments every day, and yet it's not often I get something back!
People that joined AFTER me are able to be so above me just because I upvote their comments, and yet they never upvote back!
I'm sick of it!

I upvote comments every now and then. but I never expect people to upvote back. and I don't care about that leaderboard shit. mainly cause it puts a social status on everyone.
I hate the point system but other people seem to like it.
it puts this social media on the same levels like a video game almost.
furthermore... I see all their arguments that are like "I got more points than you blah blah blah" and apparently that's all that matter.
but it's not self fish it's accurate.
I only upvote people that I care about now (or funny memes)
