we have elements of socialism in our own economy,and they are incredibly popular.
socialism,just like capitalism,has many iterations.
you can look back at our own history to see that even here,in America,we had a socialist party,a communist party,the wobblies,labor etc etc.the political landscape of 100 years ago was not the duopoly we see today.
