Don't know how to stop you from being jealous, but I can give you some tips on how to earn points fast. You can do what ProductiveDuck, Ememeon, and who_am_i do which is to submit as many memes as you can come up with across as many streams as possible. I've tried this when I've had time off of work and you can stay on the 7 day leaderboard for awhile without too much commenting. The other way is to have a meme-off in the comments. Basically what you do is you start meme commenting with another user and you try to outdo one another while upvoting each other's comments. Since it's a friendly competition, you can riff off of what they're commenting and they can do the same with you, sort of like improv. Generally, other users will upvote the thread giving you and your partner plenty of points. Plus you can get quite a few comments that are submission worthy themselves. That's how most of us older users on here like me, Raydog, DashHopes, and Octavia_Melody got all our points. I'm always down for a good meme-off so feel free to give it a try on one of my memes.

It helps to have a real life and just not care as much about imgflip altogether. I know it's difficult once you're down the rabbithole and post memes every day and comment a lot to take a step back from it. But it can be worth it to just take a break for a while. Go outside, read a book, binge watch a series you always wanted to see, learn astrophysics or a new language... And when you come back try posting something that you already know most people won't get. Because that way it's never intended to get many points but as long as you find it funny it's enough. And if someone then actually gets it because they read the same book or whatever it is it will mean so much more than anonymous upvotes and "lol" comments, because it usually starts a conversation.
