Zoos are for animals what civilization is for humans. And I don't mean it in a positive context.

Let's see...
In the wild, animals have to search for food and have to fight for survival.
In a zoo, they stay in their cages, a safe distance from humans with a wall to block them, separating the humans and animals and making sure they each have their own space. Space for the humans to admire them and for the animals to just live.
If we don't try to invade their space, they won't invade ours. Simple, right?

animals (including human beings/mammals) are not meant to be in cages
Maybe an open concept ?-like safari zoo is better for the animals
1. Helps them retain their natural habitat
2. Helps ppl to be more aware of the environment's importance & respect for wild animals.

It's like saying that you're enslaving someone, except it's an animal. As an animal lover myself (pls don't judge), it's not justified. All the zoos care about is money just so they make an animals' life imprisoned. Yea, I understand that not all zoos mistreat animals, but there some zoos I looked up that have poor living conditions for the animals. Should the United Nations even do something about it? After all, the United Nations makes decisions.
