Adopt a kid and use the adoption credit! Didnt have to pay taxes for a year and a half after that, it was great! I do our taxes, but I dont do anything special really. I used to catalog all of our clothing donations, but the payoff for what we were doing was really not much different than the standard deduction so I didnt even bother this year. Good luck!
